Climb to the ridge: slightly-sloping bridge crossing the bergschrund about 20 m long. We climbed and went forward for about 200- 300 m . And then we came across a hole i.e. two-side cornices transformed into three-sided ones.

We have held the third expedition to the Chinese Tien-Shan, the main aim of which was to make an ascent to the peak Voennih Topografov (6873m) along the Southern edge (the route hadn't been passed yet, we have become the pioneers).

The snow and ice pass Soyuzmultfilm lies in the south-west part of Ak-Shijrak region. The pass connects the Kazan glacier with one of right tributaries of North Kara-Sai glacier.

The history of Ghar Parau begins in September of 1971. A British expedition of 11 members came to Iran to explore the mountain terrain around the town of Kermanshah, and, especially, the Kuh-e-Parau massif. The organizer and leader of the expedition – John Middleton – presumed, that the Zagros Mountain range was rich with karst and caves of different size.
